For all returning players, welcome back! For all new players, welcome! If any of you go to the online Sac lobby straight from a fresh install or pre-Manual-Patching, then you'll notice that the lobby is pretty much empty, except for possibly the names [HELP]Dred, which is me, and/or [HELP]Dog. Both of us are there to help you all install a certain patch which brings you to a new server; both of them are courtesy of Dog. On this new server the rest of the community plays, and for the most part we are still pretty active. This patch is a little different to install than most patches, which is why we're there in the first place to help, and here I have made a thread for reference in case neither of us are there or if we're too lazy to type out all the instructions  .

Step 1: Opening the patch
Open the patch from the place you saved it using any .zip opening program such as WinRar or WinZip, both of which can be found on Google and are quick to install. FOR THOSE USING VISTA: use Vista's default opening program, not a third party one. Vista does not like foreign programs such as these, so it may screw with the patching process.

Step 2: Extracting
When you open the file, inside you'll see a folder called manual_patching. Open that up. Inside you'll see a bunch of files and folders, such as SacPro, Desecrate, etc. What you have to do here is extract (or whatever the similiar command happens to be) all these files and folders to your main Sacrifice folder, overwriting anything your computer asks. IMPORTANT: do this step while logged off of Sac, or you'll get an error somewhere along the line.

Step 3: Running SacPro
Once you've extracted, go to your main Sacrifice folder. Inside should be a file called SacPro. Run it and see what happens. Looks familiar doesn't it? You'll be logging onto Sac the same way as before, and you'll get to the lobby the same way, but instead of a dead one, you'll be in the new, active one! Use Sacpro from now on whenever you want to log on.
